Is it safe to upload photos to a Tiny Desk AI site?
Updated · Tiny Desk AI team
A face photo is personal data, and many Tiny Desk AI sites are small fan tools, so it is worth two minutes of checking. Get your friends' agreement first, then read how the site handles photos. Below is what to look for, followed by how Tiny Desk AI (tinydeskai.run) handles each point.
Before you upload
- Ask first. Everyone in the video should be an adult who agreed to appear in it.
- Find the privacy policy. It should say which companies receive your photos.
- Look for a training statement. A clear yes or no on AI training is better than silence.
- Look for a deletion route. You should be able to ask for photos and videos to be removed.
- Read the refund terms. Check what happens when a render fails or a face looks wrong.
- Check the domain. Many sites use nearly the same name, so make sure you are on the site you meant to visit.
How tinydeskai.run handles this
| Topic | What happens here |
|---|---|
| Who receives photos | Our storage host and our AI video provider, Kie.ai, which runs Kuaishou's Kling 4.0 model |
| AI training | We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models |
| Selling data | We do not sell your photos or videos |
| Your videos | Stay in your account until you ask us to delete them |
| Deletion | Email support@tinydeskai.run; requests are completed within 30 days |
| Card details | Handled by our payment partner Waffo; we never see or store them |
The privacy policy has the full list of service providers.
If a video fails or looks wrong
| Situation | What you get |
|---|---|
| The video fails to render | Credits return automatically; no need to ask |
| A face is clearly wrong | Email within 7 days with the video date and we return the credits for that video |
| You have not used the pack | Refund on request within 14 days of purchase |
| You used part of the pack | The unused share is refundable within those 14 days |
Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually arrive within 5–10 business days. Exceptions are in the refund policy. A sharp, front-facing portrait gives the best chance of a good result; see the photo tips in the walkthrough.
Sharing the result
Label the video as AI when you post it, and do not pass it off as real footage. Our terms also ban using it to harass or deceive anyone. If a video shows you without your permission, contact us and we will review the report.
