Terms of Service

The rules for using Tiny Desk AI.

These terms apply to your use of tinydeskai.run ("Tiny Desk AI", "we", "us"). By creating an account or making a video, you agree to them.

1. The service

Tiny Desk AI generates short AI videos from photos you upload. It is an independent fan tool and is not affiliated with NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson or The Gap Band. Results are AI-generated and may not be perfect.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. What you may upload

You may only upload photos:

  • of yourself, or of adults who gave you permission to use their image this way;
  • that you have the right to use.

You may not upload photos of minors, public figures or celebrities, or anyone who did not consent. You may not use the service to harass, impersonate, mislead, defame or sexualize anyone, or to make content that is illegal where you or the person shown live.

4. Using your videos

You may download and share the videos you make for personal, non-commercial use. Label them as AI-generated when you post them. Do not present them as real footage or as an official NPR or Tiny Desk production.

5. Credits and payments

Videos are paid for with credits bought as one-time packs. Prices are shown on the pricing page. Credits do not expire. When a video fails to render, its credits are returned automatically. Refunds follow the refund policy.

6. Removal and suspension

We may remove videos and suspend accounts that break these terms, without refund of credits used on the content concerned.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
